Scotty's Bio

I have been playing darts since I was 15 years old. My fathers friend had a dartboard hung in the kitchen and they would play every time we were there. I never understood it... My father finally talked me into playing a game of 3 person cricket. Never having played before, they told me what to shoot at. I wound up beating them a couple games in a row.

I was hooked.
Since then, I had really always been a mediocre player at best. The occasional moment of brilliance would flash from time to time. Like back in 1997? (wow!) playing in a soft tip B doubles tournament and winning both doubles events that day with the same partner in a field of 60ish teams.

(Still love that story, Max!)

In 2002, I started noticing small increments in my consistency. And I have no idea what changed. LOL! People that have known me locally since my early 20's still ask from time to time what I started doing different. I have no clue.... The only thing I can see is that I want to win now 1000X more than before.

My competitiveness has increased like the price of gas! Since 2004 I have been on pretty firm ground. I am now very comfortable in my position, and will take full advantage of all opportunities that come my way.
